Special Guests: Principal Chief Chad Smith, Deputy Chief Joe Grayson, and District 8 Councilman Bradley Cobb.

Details: FREE Hog Fry. All Cherokee Nation departments will have booths set up with information for every program available. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy a great fall day with all your Cherokee friends.

Details: Come and support Team Cherokee 2007 and meet Deputy Chief Joe Grayson, former Deputy Chief John Ketcher, District 8 Councilman Buel Anglen and District 8 Council Candidate Bradley Cobb. Don Greenfeather and crew will prepare the meal. Entertainment will be provided by the Trottingwolf Family Singers. Come and enjoy the best hog fry in District 8.

Directions: From Bartlesville, take Highway 75 North to Durham Road in Dewey, OK (the first stop light). Go east approximately 5 miles to the event. Follow the campaign signs all the way to the event site. 

Details: This event is for the supporters of Buel Anglen, Bradley Cobb, Chad Smith and Joe Grayson. Hamburgers will be served.

Details: District 8 Councilman Buel Anglen and Council candidate Bradley Cobb will host an Election Campaign 2007 Get Together at the Sperry Armory in Sperry, OK on Saturday, March 24, 2007. Barbeque sandwiches, chips and drinks will be provided free of charge. If possible, bring a dessert to be shared with supporters.

Event: 4th Annual Hog Fry
When: Saturday May 13, 2006
Where: Mack Taylor Park, Highway 11, Sperry, OK
Time: 1:00PM - 3:00PM

Details: Councilman Buel Anglen will be hosting his 4th Annual Hog Fry at Mack Taylor Park in Sperry, May 13, 2006. Volunteers are asked to report at 9:30 a.m. Anyone wanting to volunteer can just show up when they please. We will  serve lunch from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. This will be a free event for everyone. All Cherokee citizens of District 8 and friends of Cherokee's are invited. Everyone is invited to come out and join all the great Cherokee people for a fun day at the park and enjoy a Cherokee Traditional Hog Fry prepared by Cherokees.

This years special guests include: Chief Chad Smith, Former Chief Wilma Mankiller, Deputy Chief Joe Grayson and Dr. Bradley Cobb, Gold Medalist-U.S. Olympic Trials 2000, Bronze Medalist-Olympic/Paralympic Games and Council Candidate "Keeler" District #8 2007.

Event: Happy Days & Star Nites (formerly Old West Fest)
When: Saturday June 18, 2005
Where: Downtown - Sperry, OK
Time: 9:30AM - ?

Details: Deputy Chief Joe Grayson and District 8 Councilman Buel Anglen will serve as grand marshals in Sperry's "Happy Days & Star Nites" parade. The parade is scheduled to begin at 10:00AM Saturday, June 18, 2005 in downtown Sperry, Oklahoma. Both will also be involved in the dedication of the new Sperry Museum preceding the parade at 9:30AM.

Event: 3rd Annual Hog Fry
When: Saturday May 21, 2005
Where: Mack Taylor Park, Highway 11, Sperry, OK

Details: Councilman Buel Anglen will be hosting his 3rd Annual Hog Fry at Mack Taylor Park in Sperry, May 21, 2005. Volunteers will start at 9:30 a.m. getting food and set up ready. Anyone wanting to volunteer, can just show up when they please. We will start serving lunch at 1:00 p.m. and wrap everything up around 3:00 p.m. This will be a free event for everyone. All Cherokee citizens of District 8 and friends of Cherokee's are invited. The Trottingwolf Singers will be singing in Cherokee this year also. The main cook is William Deerinwater, and the fry bread main cooks will be Shirley Ross and Reva Crawford. Tulsa Cherokee Community Organization and Victory Cherokee Community Organization will be raffling several Items. Also members from the Washington County Cherokee Organization will be attending. So everyone come out and join all the great Cherokee people for a fun day at the park and enjoy a Cherokee Traditional Hog Fry cooked by Cherokees.

Event: TCCO Cherokee Tour
When: Saturday May 14, 2005
Details:  Visit the places where much of Indian history was made - historic Fort Gibson, Tahlequah, Lunch at the Restaurant of the Cherokees, Park Hill and other sites time permitting. Video's of history, brochures and maps etc. This trip will not be the same as last years. Bus will depart from Drysdales, 31st and Memorial, Tulsa at 9:00 AM and return by 5:00 PM. Fee is $40.00 per person and will include lunch refreshments and bus fare. Reserve early...space is limited.

Event: Civil War Reenactment Tour

Details:  One day tour. Departs Tulsa at 8:30AM from the parking lot of Drysdale's, 33rd & Memorial Drive. Will tour Historic Sites of the Cherokee Nation, J.M. Davis Gun Museum, Civil War Exhibits, Burial Site of Elijah Hicks, Trail of Tears Detachment Leader, Cabin Creek Civil War Battlefield & Reenactment, History and Gravesite of Brigadier General Stand Watie (last Civil War Confederate General to surrender). 

Cabin Creek entrance fee and lunch is included.

Event: Cherokee Historic Tour
When: Saturday, May 15th
Details:  Visit the places where much of "Indian Territory" history was made. Join citizens of the Cherokee Nation who are descendants of prominent Cherokee families. They will take you back in time. Learn about treaties, land cessions and families who removed prior to the Trail of Tears. We will leave from Drysdales, 3220 S. Memorial, Tulsa, Ok. at 8 a.m. and will return the same day at 6 p.m.

Need not be present to win. Money raised for this drawing will go to the Tulsa Cherokee Community Organization (TCCO).
